So I randomly logged in for old meme’s sake today (aka bc my girlfriend wanted to laugh at my old self) and I thought I would actually reply to this ask bc hey I haven’t used tumblr for a year, and haven’t used it properly for a year before that. 

Hi random followers I’ve never met! 

I’m almost 18, I’m no longer horribly depressed and terrible (I’m still gay as hell tho ayyy lmao). I spend my free time running long distance and doing lots of extra curriculars, I’m going for scholarships at university, I’m going to move cities next year with my amazing girlfriend of almost 2 years. I have a life now!! Who would have guessed.

I never think about the people that have left me behind that I got caught up with on this blog. I have people to talk to about my problems, I don’t hate myself anymore, and it’s an incredible relief. My life is so vastly different to who I was, and I can barely believe I am the same person that wrote that fateful lonely late night post 3 or 4 years ago now. I guess I’m not. I don’t know, this was kind of random, but I just wanted to say that it does get better, especially if you’re like 13-16 reading this, things will change so much and you will change so much and you can make your life better, it will change- you don’t have to hate yourself forever. There is hope for everyone. I just look back on how young and sad and weird I was and I know now that I’ve grown from that and it’s a good feeling.

So yeah, the georgie of times gone by is gone, replaced with a better, less sad version. Thank you, people of tumblr for the good times, the stupid fucking messages, and all the memes
